Our Pledge
Our aim is to create beautiful jewellery that is kind to our planet. Everything from the materials used for each item to the packaging that protects it, is all eco-friendly. We also do everything we can to raise money for good causes.
Materials
Silver
All Torbjörn jewellery is made using Ecosilver which is an environmentally friendly raw material which is produced from 100% recycled scrap sterling silver. Ecosilver is the same as sterling silver and contains 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% additional alloys – the only difference is that it is kinder to our planet!
Stones
We only use stones from companies who source them from trusted and ethical suppliers that ensure that their workers are treated fairly – providing a safe workplace, access to health care and a fair wage.
Packaging
Boxes
All the packaging that we use has been carefully selected to ensure that it is eco-friendly. Our jewellery boxes are made from FSC-certified cardboard and paper. The insert is made from FSC-certified cardboard topped with natural wool felt. The boxes are 100% compostable and recyclable.
Tissue Paper
The tissue paper we use is printed with soy-based inks on FSC-certified paper and is Acid, Sulphur and Lignin-free. It is 100% compostable, recyclable and made from recycled materials.
Stickers
The stickers that we use are made from FSC-certified paper and printed with soy-based inks. They are also 100% compostable!
Postal Boxes
The postal boxes that we use are made from recycled materials, are 100% compostable and recyclable.
Giving Back
